The Ujjain Science Centre, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, was inaugurated on 3rd April, 2026, by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Union Minister of Education, in the presence of Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

The Science Centre was conceptualized, designed, and developed by the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India, under the Scheme for Promotion of Culture of Science (SPoCS). The centre has been handed over to the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science & Technology (MPCST), Madhya Pradesh, for its operation and management. Key Components and Facilities of the Science Centre

• ‘Fun Science’ Gallery – A dedicated gallery for interactive and playful learning of scientific principles.
• ‘Indian Science and Technology Heritage’ Gallery – Showcasing India's rich scientific contributions from ancient to modern times.
• Temporary Exhibition on ‘Space Heritage of India’ – A special exhibition highlighting India's achievements in space exploration.
• Auditorium – A fully-equipped auditorium for science seminars, film screenings, and public events.
• Conference Room – A facility for meetings, workshops, and expert deliberations.
• Science Activity Hall – A dedicated space for conducting science workshops, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
• Exhibit Development Lab – An in-house facility for the design, fabrication, and maintenance of exhibits.
• Office – Administrative offices to support the smooth functioning of the centre.
