The Innovation Hub at Science Centre Sri Vijaya Puram, developed by the National Council of Science Museums-NCSM, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, was inaugurated on October 24, 2024, by Shri A.S.P.S. Raviprakash, IAS, Secretary, Science & Technology, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, A & N Islands, and Vice Chairman, Science Centre, in the august presence of other dignitaries. Developed under the Scheme for Promotion of Culture of Science (SPoCS), the Innovation Hub provides a multi-disciplinary platform to the youth to engage in innovative and creative activities. Comprising of a well-designed Resource Centre, Idea Lab and Lecture Hall, it provides an appropriate environment to students stimulating their critical thinking and problem solving skills.
