Regional Science Centre, Guwahati celebrated International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer on 16th September, 2015 in its premises with some educational activities conducted among children and general public. The following programs were conducted at the Centre on this special occasion.
- Painting Competition for children in two different groups
- Poster Competition for students of higher classes
- Popular Talk on Protection of Ozone Layer by Prof. Rahul Mahanta of Cotton College delivered before students groups.
- Open house Science Quiz for all
- Screening of Award Winning Film of Rashtriya Vigyan Chalchitra Mela & Competition- 2015
Students from local schools and general public took part in the above activities. The celebration programme ended with prize distribution.
