In the developing world like India infectious diseases account for a large amount of loss of lives. We are losing a battle against the microorganisms (bugs) which are fast evolving, making them resistant to most antibiotics. The newer antibiotics are few and expensive. Today we need to take steps to prevent misuse of antibiotics for a safer future generation. Let us all understand and join in this endeavour.
