New Facilities at Shrikrishna Science Centre, Patna
 
3D Film Show Theatre:  A fully air-conditioned 3D film theatre, with seating capacity of 60 persons, is open for public. The theatre is showing films titled ‘Master of Magic’, ‘Shark Island’ and ‘Roller Costar Ride’. The 3D effect is being created through the circularly polarized films projected with the help of two projectors and seen through special circularly polarized glasses.
 
 
     
 
 
Jurassic Park: ‘Jurassic Park’ with 9 life-like dinosaurs, making robotic movement in their natural floral environment, is open. The information about the Mesozoic period and the features of these dinosaurs is given through labels and also with the help of a commentary.
 
 
     
 
 
Indian Scientists: Half busts of eight Indian scientists viz. J C Bose, C V Raman, S N Bose, Meghnad Saha, S Ramanujan, Vikram Sarabhai, H J Bhabha and Birbal Sahni, along with information about their life and works, have been placed near the entrance of the Centre.
 
 
     
 
 
A Scientific Mural: A scientific mural with the central theme ‘Energy’ has been installed on the main building of the Centre.
 
 
     
 
 
Darwin Now: The Centre has opened a travelling exhibition titled ‘Darwin Now’ in association with British Council, Kolkata which speaks about the life and works of Charles Darwin and the relevance of his theory in today’s world.
