Inaugurated on the 6th December, 2008, the Earth Exploration Hall is housed in 25-meter diameter dome that has a 6-meter giant globe as the central exhibit. A multitude of interactive exhibits and innovative data presentation technologies, installed along the periphery, present all the important features of the planet in interesting details. While the ground floor depicts the southern hemispherical features, the first floor showcases the northern hemisphere.
